A letter to mom

Dear Mom,

On this special day dedicated to mothers, I want to express my deepest gratitude and love for you. Reflecting on my childhood, I am overwhelmed by the incredible sacrifices you made and the boundless love you showered upon me.

The decision you made to leave your government job and teach at my school was not just a career change—it was a testament to your unwavering devotion as a mother. You sacrificed your comfort and financial security to ensure that I felt safe and loved during those early school years when I was struggling to adjust. I remember how you carried me on your bicycle to school every day, soothing away my tears and fears.

Waking up at 4 in the morning to prepare breakfast for me was a true labor of love. Your selflessness knew no bounds—you ensured I started each day with a full stomach and a heart filled with your affection. Despite your own challenges and even when you were unwell, you never hesitated to care for me and shield me from any hardships.

Your protective instincts and fierce advocacy for me against bullying are etched in my memory. You stood by my side, a pillar of strength and support, ensuring that I never felt alone or vulnerable.

Mom, your sacrifices and endless nurturing have shaped the person I am today. Your belief in my potential has been my guiding light, propelling me forward during challenging times. Your dreams for my success have always been my motivation.

Today, as I celebrate you on Mother’s Day, I want you to know that you are cherished beyond measure. Your love is my anchor, and your unwavering support is my strength. I am endlessly grateful for the countless ways you have shown me what it means to be selfless and compassionate.

Thank you, Mom, for everything you have done and continue to do for me. May this Mother’s Day be filled with the same warmth and love that you have always brought into my life.

With all my love and admiration,
